(some of the pictures are out of order, and there are a lot of them. If you find yourself in any, be sure to leave a comment, and thank you again for making Maddox's wish trip so amazing!)
On Wednesday we got up bright and early and ate breakfast at the Gingerbread House. After breakfast we headed to the Magic Kingdom.
The lines for Rapunzel were 2 hours long! Wowza! But if you have a little princess, it's a necessity. I am grateful a thousand times over for the wonderful CMs and Disney for helping us skip the lines. It made it possible to stuff a lot of magic in a short amount of time. Thank you!!
Maddox calls himself "Pluto Puppy" more often than not, so it was really fun for him to give Pluto a love.
Bailee was not thrilled at having her pictures taken with any of the 'furs' (characters with masks). She wasn't that fond of them when we went to Disneyland 2 years ago either.
More princesses! They made her entire trip! She loved talking with them and she thought it was so cool that Aurora kissed her autograph book. Maddox liked giving them his card, but to be honest, he preferred the furs.
The Mouse of the hour. It was so fun to spend a few minutes with Mickey and Minnie. That is, after all, who Maddox came to see. A lot of the characters kissed the kids, and Maddox kissed all of them too.
In front of Cinderellas castle. It was awesome to have Photopass take a lot of pictures. Thank you Disney and Give Kids the World for providing these wonderful memories!
I love this picture!
Rosetta is Bailee's favorite Fairy (Shhhhh, don't tell Tink.)
Maddox loves Tinkerbell too.
Awwww! Tigger hugged Maddox forever, and Maddox hugged him right back.
Pooh wanted to keep Maddox. Well actually, a lot of the characters wanted to keep him. They would change their minds by the early morning hours though. Those are not the "Extra Magic" hours at our home.
Jasmine gave Maddox a big kiss, and left lipstick on his cheek.
Eric and Ariel were very sweet with both of the kids. Bailee loved when Ariel asked Eric if she would put Bailee's card in his 'cucumber'. (His cumber bun). She was asking Bailee if she wanted to be a mermaid and what color of tail and shells she would like. Bailee was so enamored with all of the princes and princesses.
Tiana didn't want to be shown up by Jasmine, so she left a darker lipstick kiss on Maddox's cheek. She and Naveen were also very cute with the kids. I told Tiana that we'd caught a frog for Bailee to kiss the night before and that Bailee had run away screaming. Tiana went off about how kissing frogs only gets you in to trouble and she should stay away from them. It was super cute, and Bai had that "I told you so" look on her face.
It's always fun to have Grammy and Grampy join us for an adventure!
I love this picture of Maddox holding Tink. He was so cute!
Meeting Peter Pan! Bailee wouldn't have her picture taken. There was a line of teenage girls to see him, no little kiddos. Funny.
Here's Jasmine's kiss.
And Tiana's kiss.
Maddox eating noodles with Mickey! So we went to the Garden Grill at Epcot, and I'll be honest I had been disappointed that this was the only one left when I made reservations. I am so glad this was the one! The food was great and the atmosphere was better. It was smaller than most of the other character dinners, so the characters seem to spend more time with the kids. It's also a whole lot quieter. I loved that it rotated and the scenery changed, it was fun. They had Mac N Cheese on the kids menu, how perfect was that? The only disappointing thing for Maddox was that Mickey and Pluto would not sit down and have some noodles. He absolutely loved spending time with them though, and Chip and Dale, and didn't eat a whole lot. He kept waiting for another friend to come say hi to him.
We stayed late to see the Electrical Parade and Fireworks at the Magic Kingdom. This is what exhaustion looks like!
What a fun day!!
Maddox didn't love a lot of the rides, but one thing he does love is the Carousel, so this was super fun for him.
Bailee loves the rides more than anything....except the princes and princesses. The only magical thing that we just couldn't make happen was a picture and autograph with Flynn Rider. She saw him on the float, but she was disappointed that she didn't get to meet him. All in all it was a very fun, magical day and I am again so grateful to Make-A-Wish, Give Kids the World, and Disney for helping make Maddox's wish come true!
